Free campaign resources - Creating a buzz
We have created a package of moon landing inspired resources to support staff flu campaigns. They were designed as part of our Flu Bee game but we are making them available to all employers. You can download the image files and reuse them freely in your flu campaign designs. The campaign guides may give you some useful tips to make your campaign more effective.
Engaging staff is the starting point for any successful flu campaign. There are 2 key barriers that employers must overcome to improve staff uptake:
1. Correct common misconceptions about flu and the vaccine; overcome ‘vaccine hesitancy’
2. Tell staff how to get vaccinated in their organisation: where and when
These misconceptions and practicalities are easy to address, if employers have the right plan, resources and tools.
Employers must engage staff for long enough to present their messages. Simple messages that ere easy to understand, encourage vaccination, and sit with eye-catching images are the key ingredients.
Flu Bee was designed to improve vaccination rates by engaging, educating and encouraging staff to get vaccinated. It also tells them where and when to get vaccinated in their organisation. It harnesses the power of ‘serious’ games and gamification.
